Protect Yourself from Scammers & Impersonators
Beware of scammers impersonating UOB Kay Hian — DO NOT interact with it , DO NOT click any links and DO NOT provide any personal information that can be used for identity theft and hacking in your accounts.
If something sounds too good to be true… there's probably a scammer behind it.
Examples of Fraud and Scam Types

•• "Government Agency / PDRM / LHDN" Scam
•• "Your Account Has Been Hacked" Scam
•• "Job Advertisement" Scam
•• Phishing Scam
Examples of How Scam Works to Steal Victims’ Data
•• Send fake website links to victims to click
•• Send fake mobile app links to victims to install
•• Request victims to download apps
•• Receive unsolicited calls or e-mails
•• Receive private messages on social media from strangers
•• Urge victims to “invest” in specific investment products
•• Claim to have special information or insider tips
•• Scammers pretending to be employees
•• Request for payment or deposit
•• Request for secret TAC / PIN Number from victims.
